Design-first approach
Every project, every visit
Serving Addison, PA properties
Bare beds, mismatched plantings, or a yard that never quite came together after a move-in or renovation often prompts a first call.
Beds that haven't been maintained in a while can look more like a project than a feature, and benefit from a fresh design pass.
Removing a large tree or clearing land often opens up new space that needs a landscaping plan to make it feel intentional.
Curb appeal matters at listing time, and a landscaping refresh is often one of the highest-impact updates before showings.
BHM Tree Service starts every landscaping project with a walk of the property before any plants or materials are discussed. That walk covers sun exposure, drainage patterns, existing trees and root systems, and how different areas of the yard are actually used, since a design that looks good on paper but ignores how a family uses the space rarely holds up. From there, the crew builds a plan that balances what the property owner wants visually with what will actually thrive given the soil, light, and climate conditions specific to Addison, PA.
The crew assesses sun, drainage, soil, and existing trees or structures before any plan is drafted.
Budget range, maintenance preferences, and how the space gets used day to day shape the direction of the plan.
Bed shapes, plant groupings, and hardscape elements are laid out to work with the property's natural flow.
Plantings, mulch, and any hardscape features are installed with attention to spacing and long-term growth.
The finished space is reviewed together, with guidance on watering and care during the establishment period.
A crew with deep tree service experience plans landscaping around root systems and canopy conditions others might miss.
Plans account for how much upkeep a homeowner actually wants to commit to, not just what looks best on day one.
Selections reflect what genuinely performs well in Addison, PA's specific soil and climate conditions.
Landscaping, lawn care, and tree work can all be coordinated through a single point of contact.
Coverage is carried regardless of project size, from a small bed refresh to a full-yard redesign.
Landscaping needs vary widely across Addison, PA, from smaller front-yard bed refreshes to larger properties needing a full design overhaul. BHM Tree Service has built its landscaping capacity to handle that range, drawing on 15years + of familiarity with local soil conditions, seasonal weather patterns, and the plant varieties that tend to hold up best in this specific area. That local knowledge shortens the guesswork in the design phase and helps set realistic expectations for how a finished landscape will look and perform over time.
Either approach works. Some homeowners prefer to tackle one area first and expand later, while others want a full-property plan from the start.
Timeline depends on scope, from a single-day bed refresh to a multi-week project for larger redesigns involving more extensive planting and hardscape work.
